Why Serbia's football team could not train at the stadium where they will play against Denmark?
A change of plan...
Unlike the previous two games against England and Slovenia, the Serbian national football team did not do the official training session at the stadium where they will be playing against their next opponent, Denmark.
Namely, the team did the last training before that game in Augsburg, their base, although they were originally planned to do this in Munich.
But not at the Allianz Arena, where they will play against the Danes on Tuesday evening (starting 9 pm.), but at Bayern Munich club's training camp. However, this has since been canceled because of the distance they would have had to travel.
The reason why the Serbian team could not train at the Allianz Arena before the game are strict UEFA rules, according to which one team cannot do two training sessions at the stadium where they play during the tournament.
And considering that Serbia has already done this once, before the game against Slovenia, it is clear why it was not possible now.
Denmark, on the other hand, will train at the Allianz Arena, where Serbia head coach Dragan Stojkovic will also hold a press conference in the afternoon.
