EPS reacts to region-wide electricity collapse: Serbia is unaffected, our supply is stable

EPS has announced the situation in Serbia is stable.

"The collapse in the region does not affect us. The supply of electricity is stable and without any problems," the company said.

Shortly after noon today the news arrived about a massive power outage affecting much of the region around Serbia.

Almost the entire area of Montenegro was without electricity today due to grid outages, the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) said.

Due to the electricity outage, people in Podgorica also have no water supply.

Parts of BiH and Dalmatia also affected

As reported by the regional media, Dalmatia in Croatia and part of Bosnia and Herzegovina are also without electricity.

Banja Luka, Prnjavor, Derventa, Laktasi, Sarajevo, Gorazde are all affected.

There is also no electricity in Split, Omis, Makarska, Dubrovnik and Zupa Dubrovacka, Kastela, Solin, Vodice, Prvic, Zadar, Starigrad Paklenica, as well as numerous islands in Croatia.

Parts of Albania also have no power supply this afternoon.
