The Serbian football team drew against Slovenia (1-1) in its second EURO 2024 Group C match.

Luka Jovic, who scored the equalizer in the dying moments of the game later spoke to reporters to say that Serbia's squad is going for victory in the last group stage game against Denmark.

"Thank you very much, it would have been even better if we had managed to win. In the end we managed to get a point, which will mean a lot to us because we will have something to fight for in the last game," Jovic said, and added:

"It was a good, high-quality, high-pace match. We expected that and I have to praise the Slovenian team. They surprised me in a positive way. We could have won, but we failed to take advantage of our chances. Let's move on, to prepare the best we can."

"When we must win, that's when we are the best - and we will do our best to win," Jovic concluded.
