The Serbian national football team will square off against Slovenia today in Munich, starting at 15:00, in the second match of Group C of this year's European football championship, EURO 2024.

This is probably the most important game when it comes to the squad progressing to the knockout phase, Telegraf has learned.

Serbian head coach Dragan "Piksi" Stojkovic announced two changes to the starting lineup compared the game against England. Filip Mladenovic will be on the pitch instead of Filip Kostic, while Dudan Tadic will also be there from the beginning, most likely instead of Sergej Milinkovic Savic.

But, as we have learned, these will not be the only changes. Nemanja Gudelj will also drop out from the starting 11, replaced by Ivan Ilic.

This may be a bit of a surprise, but Stojkovic obviously wants to put pressure on the Slovenians from the start and is thinking about more offensive tactics, since Gudelj is the only true defensive midfielder on our squad, while Ilic has more offensive characteristics, as does the rest of the midfield.

It is clear that the idea is for Serbia to rely on passing to dominate, as was the case in the second half against England.

Therefore, Serbia's starting 11 against Slovenia should look like this:

Rajkovic - Veljkovic, Milenkovic, Pavlovic, Zivkovic, Mladenovic, Lukic, Ilic, Tadic, Vlahovic, Mitrovic.
