Djokovic in Belgrade hospital, walks without crutches, undergoes special treatment: Good news before Olympics
The best tennis player on the planet, Novak Djokovic, had successfully surgery at the Ramsay Sante sports clinic in Paris after he got injured during his round of 16 match agaisnt Francisco Cerundolo during this year's French Open.
The injury forced him to withdraw from the second Grand Slam of the season.
It was determined that Novak suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee. He left the medical center in Paris very soon after the operation and took a photo with his team, with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Meanwhile, Djokovic has arrived in Belgrade. He now has at least three weeks to recover and is expected to miss Wimbledon, but will hopefully compete at the Olympics, which has after all been his main goal.
According to information obtained by the newspaper Informer, which also published photos, Novak opted for accelerated treatment at the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine in Belgrade, where he was seen this morning.
Djokovic was walking without any major difficulties, with a slight limp, but he no longer needs crutches. He arrived to the clinic at 8:30 am, and the treatment lasted about 70 minutes. Accompanied by his entourage, he then left the hospital.
We hope that the way things are progressing, Djokovic will recover as well and as soon as possible and make Serbia happy by winning a medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.
