Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic says that Belgrade is ready for dialogue with Pristina and that the government in Belgrade is always involved in the dialogue through its Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Vucevic told RTS that Serbia is asking all those who consider that issue to have been resolved - if that is the case, then why pressure Serbia.

"For some big players in the international environment, Kosovo and Metohija is a done deal, and for others, of course, it is not. But also as far as those for whom the issue of Kosovo and Metohija has been resolved, if that is the case, then why put pressure on Serbia," asked Vucevic.

He stressed that as far as he is concerned Kosovo is not independent, nor will it ever be.

"It cannot be until the Serbian side says that it is," stressed the prime minister of Serbia.

He added that he considers what Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is doing on the ground is a much bigger problem.

"He is using this moment and has support to carry out terror against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, primarily in the north. Our task and goal is to support Serbs in Kosovo and Kosovo in accordance with (UN Security Council) Resolution 1244," said Vucevic.

According to him, Belgrade must defend Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, instead of "coming out with cheap sloganeering."

"Bosnia and Herzegovina is the most complex issue in the Western Balkans, and Kosovo is a difficult issue for Serbs and Albanians, who had different historical frameworks, solutions, moments when one or the other side was better off or dominated," stated Vucevic.

The prime minister pointed out that Belgrade leads a responsible and wise policy and that he considers this to be an advantage.
