Youths stink up building in Belgrade "cooking" drugs: UKP arrives for a movie-like operation

A group of young men were arrested in Belgrade at the beginning of the month for illegal production of psychoactive substances. According to unofficial information, they rented an apartment in a city neighborhood and "cooked" the drugs there.

Neighbors who witnessed the arrest described it as "movie-like," while the suspects were allegedly discovered because an incredible stench had been spreading through the building for days.

After the UKP burst into the apartment, it seems that the owner fared badly, considering that the door was forced open and the housing unit sealed and impossible to use.

"If you rent your apartment in Belgrade on a per-day basis to youths who are into cooking psychoactive substances, chances are UKP's 4th Department will do this to your (property) during the arrest, so be careful since they are not very gentle," reads a caption to a post on X that shows the door damaged by the police.

People in the comments compared the entire situation with the premise of the TV show Breaking Bad.
