Man lost balance while putting on clothes, fell from great height: Witnesses of bizarre Kalemegdan accident

The body of V.M. (39) from Belgrade was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.It is suspected that he fell from a height of 20 meters from the Kalemegdan Fortress. around midnight last night.

According to witnesses, they noticed a man trying to get dressed, and that's probably when he lost his balance.

"We saw that he was alone. He wanted to put on his top. He seemed to lose his balance. The police and emergency services came quickly, but there was no way of helping him," witnesses said during the questioning.

The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has been informed about the case.

Unofficial information says that the police have been ordered to obtain video footage from nearby surveillance cameras.
