The Department for Juveniles of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office (VTJ) in Belgrade requested today from the Higher Court to put a 16-year-old who beat DJ.M. (40) in custody, Telegraf.rs has learned. The suspect was questioned by the prosecutor today.

As our portal was told by the VJT in Belgrade, the minor will be held responsible for aggravated murder.

Police are looking for another suspect.

DJ.M. (40) was the brother of Vice President of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and Minister of Development and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mijatovic.

As we reported yesterday, the victim came out of his apartment to defend his son from "hooligans" who were taking his money for days.

"They racketeered his son, stole money, pocket money, harassed him for days, he came out to defend him," a source told us.

As we reported, they tried to set the victim on fire with a flare.

"He came out to defend the child, they jumped on him, kicked him on the head, tried to set him on fire with a flare but didn't succeed, they did everything they could to him. That man was never in a fight before. Terrible, he is survived by two children," a source close to the investigation told us.

The police are looking through the footage from surveillance cameras which are believed to have captured the brutal attack.

After the news that DJ.M. had died in the Emergency Center in Belgrade. the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade issued their statements.

DJ.M. was called to come out by his son because a group of youths did not want to return a ball to him.

Then, a fight broke out. DJ.M. returned to the building where he was taken ill.

He died two hours later in the hospital.
