Investigative teams today found an ax in an apartment in the Stupine settlement in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, that was most likely used to kill a woman and two minor children, reports Klix.ba.

The investigation in the apartment, where three bodies were found today, that of a 34-year-old woman and her two children, aged nine and two, is still ongoing.

Tuzla Canton prosecution spokesman Admir Arnautovic said that orders will be issued for autopsies in order to determine the exact causes of death.

"Also, an order will be issued for biological expert testing, DNA analysis, as well as other investigative actions, in order to determine all the circumstances related to these events, including the manner in which the three murders were committed," said Arnautovic.

He pointed out that an object was found in the apartment, which is suspected to be the weapon, namely an ax.

"We have to wait for biological tests, DNA analysis and the findings and opinion from the post-mortem, so that we can say with certainty how these crimes were committed and what weapon was used," Arnautovic stressed.

He recalled that last night around 21:15 the husband of the wife who was found dead today committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of a building. He was also the father of minor children, who were also murdered.

According to unofficial information obtained by Klix.ba, the man is Mujaga C. who worked as a medical technician in Germany. He arrived in Tuzla a few days ago.

According to the current indications obtained by the investigators, unofficial information says that the man first killed his wife and children. After that, he left the apartment where they lived, went to the neighboring building, and jumped from the 14th floor.
