Thunderstorms, storms and hail: We find out when the week's worst risk of bad weather is forecast

Weather will be mostly sunny in Serbia before noon, occasionally cloudy. There will be local showers only in some places in the extreme southeast of Serbia, but this cloudiness will also move further east towards Bulgaria.

Earlier in the morning there were stronger showers with thunderstorm in in the southeast of Serbia.

Therefore, it will be mostly sunny or partly cloudy in Serbia during most of the day.

In the afternoon, short-term and local showers with thunder are expected in some places, but without a greater danger of stronger thunderstorms.

The same is expected during the evening, but also during most of Tuesday. However, on Tuesday later in the afternoon first in the west and southwest, during the evening and night and in other regions of Serbia as well, more pronounced instability is expected, occasionally with showers and thunderstorms. Conditions for thunderstorms with hail and very heavy showers will also be ideal.

The weather will continue like this during the rest of the week and will be very unstable until the weekend, with local thunderstorms, and there will be conditions for haistorms as well.

In areas with intense thunderstorms, very heavy rainfall is expected, so it could go up to 30, locally up to 50 liters of rain per square meter.

The following days will be warm, but also very humid. The maximum temperature during most days throughout Serbia will be around 25°C, and the hottest will be tomorrow, with the highs ranging 28-29°C.

Showers with thunder and bad weather are expected and very frequent, an almost daily occurrence in this season in Serbia.

Even with more pronounced thunderstorm processes, there is no need to panic, but we should all adapt to the weather conditions, as well as follow the notifications and warnings issued by competent state services regarding potentially dangerous weather phenomena.

The most basic thing is to find safe shelter in the event of a storm or a dangerous meteorological situation, and if you find yourself in traffic, adapt your driving to the current weather and road conditions.
