President Vucic attends service in Temple of Saint Sava with Patriarch Porfirije before his trip to New York
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived at the Temple of Saint Sava in Belgrade, ahead of Vucic's trip to New York, where the UN General Assembly will be meet on Thursday, May 23 to discuss a proposed resolution on Srebrenica.
President of the Serb Republic Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of Serbia Milos Vucevic, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric and Minister without portfolio Nenad Popovic also came to the Temple, where a special prayer service was led my Patriarch Porfirije.
Vucic announced yesterday that he would this morning travel on a regular Air Serbia flight to New York, and would before the trip meet with representatives of Serbs from the entire region, as well as with Patriarch Porfirije in the Temple of St. Sava, who, as expected, will give a sermon about the upcoming week.
Vucic said that a big fight is ahead in New York.
"I will have many meetings, and on Thursday we will all fight together. I also told the people who are coming with me, if they are not ready to fight, if they think this is an ordinary trip, not to go. Those who are ready to fight, in every way, that only they should come," said President Vucic.
He added that he guarantees that he will fight, as well as that he knows the size of the power that threatens us and how big and important they are.
"But we will do our best. We will fight harder than they expected," said Vucic.
