Police guard Radoslav in church as he attends his wife Svetlana's funeral: Within 40 days he lost son and wife

Svetlana Dragijevic, the mother of a suspect in the murder of Danka Ilic, was today laid to rest today at the new cemetery in the village of Zlot.

Her husband Radoslav, who is in the church for the memorial service was also there, guarded by the police.

Radoslav was arrested on suspicion that he helped hide the body of Danka Ilic (2), together with his son Dejan. The Higher Court in Zajecar previously detained him for up to 30 days.

He chose to remain silent during the questioning at the prosecution.

Radoslav was arrested on April 5 together with his other son Dalibor, who died two days later while in police custody in the town of Bor.

Reports yesterday said that a judge did not allow the main suspect, Dejan, to attend the funeral of his mother; however, Telegraf has learned that he was present today along with his father.

A large number of family and friends of the Dragijevic family attended Svetlana's funeral.

Although both her sons and her husband were arrested on suspicion of participating in the crime committed against the child, Svetlana maintained until her last day that they were innocent.
