Exclusive: Novak Djokovic back in Serbia after breaking record, this is how he's preparing for next tournament
Novak Djokovic is back in Serbia! Just two days after he was in Madrid, where he received yet another award for the best sportsman in 2023, the best tennis player in the world returned to Belgrade, where he will continue his preparations for the current season.
He canceled the Masters in Madrid, before Roland Garros he will most certainly play in Rome, while on Wednesday he trained on the courts in Kosutnjak.
He was accompanied by Nenad Zimonjic, whom Novak recently said in Madrid that he enjoys working with him - although he will only decide in the coming period whether he needs a permanent coach at all.
"I think I'm at a stage in my career where I can afford to think that I don't need a coach, that's also an option. Let's see. I will make my decision soon," said Novak.
In addition to Zimonjic, Miljan Amanovic, Charlie Herrera Gomez and Marco Panichi were also on the court with Nole.
Telegraf was present at Djokovic's training, which you can see in the video at the top of the page, as well as in the gallery made by photographer Marko Jovanovic.
