The body of Danka Ilic (2) from Bor has not yet been found. The girl disappeared on March 26 in Banjsko Polje, and on April 4, the suspects, workers of the public company Vodovod Srdjan Jankovic (50) and Dejan Dragijevic (50) were arrested.

By order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar, they are remanded in custody for up to 30 days, while Radoslav Dragijevic, the father of one of the suspects, is also held in custody.

Telegarf.rs reported earlier that Dejan described in detail how the child was killed, but refused to say where the body was.

Dejan's brother Dalibor was also detained, but died shortly after in police custody in Bor. The autopsy report arrived to the prosecutor's office in Zajecar yesterday, and it is expected that the public will be informed about it in the coming days.

Dalibor was suspected of removing Danka's body (from the original site where it was dumped) along with his brother and father.

The investigation is led by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar, who told Telegraf.rs aboout the direction it is going.

"The witnesses who are being questioned in the proceedings are the parents of Danka Ilic, the parents of the suspects, relatives, friends, neighbors and colleagues. So far, 14 witnesses have been questioned. Starting tomorrow, the questioning of new witnesses will continue," the prosecution in Zajecar told Telegraf.rs.

Telegarf.rs has learned that the witnesses have been "mainly questioned about the circumstances concerning the movement of the suspects during the period from the disappearance of Danka Ilic until their arrest."

"All biological traces found will be examined (DNA forensics). So far, no expert report has been submitted to the prosecution. The suspects will be sent to the Special Prison Hospital in Belgrade for neuro-psychiatric evaluation, as soon as the conditions for this are created, i.e. when the need for the presence of the suspects in the evidentiary proceedings ceases," said the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar.
