High-speed Novi Sad-Vrbas railway to be tested until April 27: Approaching and crossing tracks is prohibited
Because of the implementation of internal dynamic testing of the newly built high-speed railway on the section Novi Sad-Vrbas Nova, a ban will be in place in the period from April 23 to April 27 prohibiting approaching as well as the crossing the tracks, both by people and vehicles, in order to ensure the safety of people and property.
During the testing period, high-speed trains will travel at 200 kilometers per hour on the Novi Sad-Vrbas Nova section, while the voltage of the contact network above the high-speed railway will be 25kV, so it is extremely dangerous to get close to it.
In order to ensure safety, it is necessary to follow the instructions given by the workers on the ground, and to use underpasses and overpasses to cross the railway.
