Everyone in Zlot to look for little Danka's body: They are checking properties, wells, ponds, septic tanks
The girl was killed on March 26 in the Banjsko Polje settlement
The body of 2-year-old girl Danka Ilic has not yet been found. The suspects for her murder, Srdjan Jankovic and Dejan Dragijevic, are being questioned today at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar.
As Telegraf.rs previously reported, Dejan has confessed to everything before the prosecutor, but did not want to say where the body was. Srdjan chose to remain silent.
In order to find the body of the little girl, residents of Zlot have launched an action.
"We were brought together by sadness and concern over the disappearance of little Danka Ilic. Zlot and residents of Zlot are united in condemning something that has never happened before in the history of our village. We asked people, and there were representatives from all areas, to go through their properties, farms, to check wells, septic tanks, water tanks and to report any possible change that was not caused by their actions to the police, the headquarters for emergency situations and the local community of Zlot," said Milivoje Janosevic, deputy mayor of Bor, and added:
"We hope and believe that we will remove the stain and enormous disgrace that we experienced and did not deserve. Zlot must remain united and continue to live and develop in every respect because surrender is not an option."
The girl was killed on March 26 in the Banjsko Polje settlement.
