Svetlana Dragijevic, the mother of Dejan Dragijevic, who is suspected of murdering two-2-old Danka Ilic and the wife of Radoslav Dragijevic, who is suspected of helping to hide the girl's body, used her legal right not to testify during the questioning at the prosecution.

She has that right as the next of kin of the suspects.

"Witness Svetlana Dragijevic is a privileged witness in relation to Radoslav Dragijevic, who is her husband, and her son Dejan Dragijevic. She exercised her right not to testify," said lawyer Nebojsa Zivanovic.

According to a Telegraf reporter at the scene, two more witnesses will be heard today, while several more have been summoned to the prosecution tomorrow.

Three members of the Dragijevic family were arrested in the case of the murder of the 2-year-old girl, but Svetlana's younger son Dalibor died in police custody, of a heart attack, less than 48 hours after the arrest.

Srdjan Jankovic (50) from Luka and Dejan Dragijevic (50) from Zlot are suspected of committing the aggravated murder 2 two-year-old Danka Ilic from Bor, whose body has been searched for for 12 days now, and as Telegraf.rs has unofficially learned, the suspects should soon undergo psychiatric evaluation.

Jankovic and Dragijevic, workers of the public utility company Vodovod from the nearby town of Bor, eastern Serbia, were on a work assignment in Banjsko on March 26, when the child disappeared.

According to Dragijevic's confession given at the prosecution, they hit the girl with a company car, put her in the car, later strangled her and then threw her body at a garbage dump on the Starobanjski Road, from where, two days later, Dejan, together with his father Radoslav (73) and his now-deceased brother Dalibor Dragijevic (40), moved the body to another, for now unknown location.
