A garbage dump where the body of 2-year-old Danka Ilic is suspected to have been left is being intensively searched. An excavator is digging and the sound of machines can be heard.

The police blocked access to the site. It was confirmed earlier in the morning that the toddler was killed, and that two people have been arrested on suspicion of committing the crime.

The child disappeared on March 26 at around 13:45, and since then there has been no trace of her.

It is now suspected that she was hit by a car about ten minutes after the reported time of disappearance, and that her body was then thrown at the garbage dump.
