Parents of missing Danka (2) give statements to police: Inspectors not allowing access to settlement
The parents of 2-year-old Danka Ilic, who disappeared yesterday around 1:45 pm in the Banjsko Polje settlement near Bor, eastern Serbia, have given their statements to the police, Telegraf.rs has learned.
All entrances to the Banjsko Polje remain blocked by the police.
"There are only the police, rescuers, the Mountain Service and a few media crews in the settlement. All approaches are blocked. The settlement is deserted," a Telegraf reporter at the scene said.
He added that weather conditions are catastrophic, that visibility is reduced.
"Clouds have covered the hills. It's very cold. The temperature is five degrees, but it feels like it's below zero," said our reporter.
Danka Ilic (2) disappeared on Tuesday afternoon in Banjsko Polje near Bor.
She was wearing purple pants and an olive green jacket, her hair tied in a ponytail.
The rain during the night made the search for the girl difficult. If you see Danka, immediately inform the police (by calling 192) or her parents at 0652816041.
Her mother said earlier that the girl disappeared as she was giving water to her other child.
"I turned around to give water to the other child and when I looked again, she was not there," the mother told Telegraf yesterday.
