"She was violent, he was poor, lost parents early": Locals talk about Sanela, suspected of murdering Miroslav

After a crime that happened last night in the village of Prijanovici near Lucani, there is silence. Locals say that the spouses Sanela S. (45) and Miroslav S. (55) used to quarrel and that she was violent, but no one could suspect that she would kill him.

"He was a good man, honest and hardworking, but also poor. He lost his parents early, struggled through life and this is how he ended up. She had previous marriages, and children before him. She was violent, he couldn't do anything about it and here's how tragically it ended. We are all shocked," one of the villagers told RINA.

Sanela has been arrested. She is now in detention, suspected of committing the crime of murder.

"She behaved strangely at the police station, maybe she was drunk. There was probably an argument, and she said she shot at him, then that she didn't, then that she stabbed him. She made confused statements. Miroslav had a head injury and a stab wound to his chest, which killed him," a source close to the investigation told RINA.

Further investigation will establish all the circumstances that led to this crime.
