The constitutive session of the Serbian National Assembly will continue on Monday, March 11, when the election of its president will be on the agenda.

The session was scheduled by interim president Stojan Radenovic, who is performing that duty as the eldest member of the Assembly, and will start at 11 am.

On the agenda will be the election of the new president of the Assembly of Serbia.

The presidency of the SNS party, which has a majority, decided earlier in the week that their candidate for that role should be Ana Brnabic, who has until now served as Serbia's prime minister.

The constitutive session of the Assembly started on February 6, when the mandates of people's deputies in the new convocation were confirmed.
