The leader of the "Ivica Dacic - Prime Minister of Serbia" list, Ivica Dacic, announced today that this electoral list is ready to continue cooperation with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, and that in the coming weeks, all state bodies will be set up.

"We have already said several times, and we reiterated today that we are proud of all the good results that we've achieved together since 2012 and that we believe that it is vital for the development and future of Serbia to preserve political stability because that's a prerequisite for the defense of the state and national interest, but also to achieve development goals," Dacic said after a meeting with President Vucic, a part of the consultations to pick a PM designate.

Dacic added that it can be seen in Belgrade (city-level government) that if there is no political stability, a lot of time will be spent on matters of secondary importance.

Dacic said that the president informed him and his delegation about the current political situation, as well as foreign policy aspects, pressure on Serbia, economic issues and issues concerning further development.

"A conversation that confirms what we said in previous months, which is that we are mutually interested in continuing our cooperation," said Dacic.

Later today, President Vucic will hold consultations with representatives of the electoral list gathered around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
