Vucic: I am the worst because we will not be servants to anyone

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said, commenting on articles appearing in the regional press, that he has been declared "the worst" and that the region is aghast because he declared that he would not be a servant to anyone but his own people.

In a video message posted on his Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" Vucic said that it is enough to look at and read those media from the region, that you know have never wished Serbia any good.

According to him, politicians use words at public gatherings to convince their own, but also those supporting other political options that they are telling the truth, but quite often, "much more than us, some others speak about the content of one's words and the essence of what one wanted to say."

"This morning while I was looking at the newspapers, I was looking at reports from a portal, prepared for me by my associates, I noticed one good thing that, more than anything I said myself, speaks about the situation we are in. From the Pristina-based media, of course all of them nearly extremist toward Serbia and the Serb people, to those based in Sarajevo, and many others, they all jumped as if jabbed by a pin, just because of what I said last night in Sumice, because of two things - the accelerated progress of Belgrade and Serbia, the facts about salaries in the region where Serbia is the leader, but also because I said that Belgrade, which always boasts its cosmopolitan soul, is at the same time a Serb city," said Vucic.

He added that Gazeta and Slobodna Bosna attacked him because he said that "someone wants to cancel the state of Serbia, take away our land, and for us to reply to fax messages with, 'yes sir' - but we will not have bosses and be servants to anyone, except to serve our own people."

"That's why I'm Hitler, that's why I'm the worst in the region, and that's why the region is aghast. Folks, citizens of Serbia, draw your own conclusions," said Vucic.
