Former BIA director Aleksandar Vulin: Vucic's proposed movement is ultimate idea of unification
The founder of the Movement of Socialist and until recently the director of the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA), Aleksandar Vulin, was on Pink TV this morning when he stressed that political unification of Serbs is necessary, and that anyone who has Serbia and Serbs at heart will join President Vucic's Movement for the People and the State.
"I am quite sure that people who have Serbia at heart will join the Movement for the People and the State. Everyone who has Serbs at heart, wherever they live, will join that movement. It is a movement to defend our right to survive, to live, to last. The Movement of Socialists, of course, if it is invited, will be an integral part of the movement led by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic. I have no doubt at all that unification, that strengthening the patriotic part of Serbia is a necessity.
I think that unification should not remain within the borders of Serbia, but should spread wherever Serbs live, the movement is the ultimate idea of unification. We Serbs must be a politically united nation. All successful political nations are united political nations," he said, adding that Vucic does not need allies, but still wants to give space to all those who are patriotic and who want to work and fight for Serbia.
"President Aleksandar Vucic is a man who was the leader of the largest party in the Balkans, he doesn't need anyone, he doesn't need a single ally. But he wants to create a movement where he will give opportunities to everyone regardless of political size, he wants to allow everyone to gain political space through their work, their patriotic efforts, no one would do that except Aleksandar Vucic. Vucic wants the entire political scene to breathe as one," said Vulin.
