Father of Dejan Milojevic - Serbian ex-basketballer and NBA coach who recently passed away - has died himself!
Just over a month after the untimely death of Dejan Milojevic, who suddenly died of a heart attack in the US, in his mid-40s - his father, Milan Milojevic, has also passed away.
Dejan Milojevic was former Serbia basketballer and was at the time of his death assistant coach for NBA's Golden State Warriors.
The Sportal website is reporting that his father passed away today, February 22. The cause of death is not known at this time.
Dejan Milojevic succumbed to a heart attack suffered while his team was playing away in Utah, on January 17.
He was laid to rest in Belgrade on February 12.
During his playing career, Dejan Milojevic won the European championship gold for Serbia in 2001 in Turkey, he was a member of a team that finished second in the Euroleague in 2004, a three-time champion of the ABA league, the best scorer in the Adriatic League for two seasons...
As a coach, he won the Radivoje Korac Cup with Mega, and became champion with Buducnost in Montenegro, also winning the Cup there, while he also won an NBA ring as Steve Kerr's assistant at the Golden State Warriors.
