"Best friend lived in my home, I didn't know he groped and molested my daughter": Father reports horrific case

On Saturday, the father of a girl (11) reported 37-year-old S.C to the police in Lazarevac. This is the man's childhood friend and his kum (both the best man, and children's godfather in Serbia).

The father reported him because in the last few days the suspect was sending vulgar messages to his 11-year-old, but he also groped her intimate parts several times, Telegraf.rs has learned.

The daughter complained to the father and showed the messages she received on Instagram.

The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Lazarevac has questioned S.C. (37) on suspicion of that he committed illicit sexual acts. The prosecution proposed detention of up to 30 days.

Telegraf has learned the girl's father told the police he "let the man who sent his daughter disgusting messages into his own home, gave him food and shelter, because they were very good friends".

The man said that he could not imagine S.C. would do such a thing to him.
