Three people arrested in Belgrade: Police find weapons and 50 kilograms of drugs

In the continuation of an operation to suppress narcotics trade in the territory of Belgrade carried out by the Anti-Drug Service of the Criminal Police Directorate and the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office, three people were arrested and around 50 kilograms ofcannabis, two pistols and 5,500 euros seized.

M.S., R.D. and Z.K. got arrested on suspicion of having committed criminal acts of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs and illegal production, possession, carrying and sale of weapons and explosive materials, announced the Prosecution.

A total of about 50 kilograms of cannabis, one CZ99 pistol without a visible serial number, one gas pistol, 5,500 euros in cash and 11 mobile phones were found and confiscated in the cars and premises used by the suspects.

The suspects are being detained for up to 48 hours, after which they will be brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade for questioning.
