Arrest in Smederevska Palanka: Over 33 kilos of drugs found in possession of young men, one attacks inspectors

The police seized more than 33 kilograms of marijuana and arrested I.S. (28) from the Belgrade region and U.P. (28) from Smederevska Palanka on suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.

They were arrested in Smederevska Palanka as I.S. was handing over a bag with 3,865 grams of marijuana to U.P.

U.P. tried to escape and, resisting arrest, lightly injured two police inspectors, so he is also charged with the criminal offense of obstructing an official conducting official duties.

During the search of I.S.'s apartment, the police found a suitcase with almost 30 kilograms of marijuana.

Both have been detained for up to 48 hours and will then be brought to the prosecutor in Smederevo, along with a criminal complaint.
