The outpatient unit in Pristina, belonging to the Serb Health Center in Pristina that is temporarily dislocated in Ugljar near Kosovo Polje will be closed until further notice, Telegraf.rs has learned.

After yesterday's raid by the prosecutor's office and the police of so-called Kosovo - the facility is part of a building where a police station is located - the police put a "closed until further notice" sign on the door.

Employees from the Health Center, who were detained at the police station in Pristina for more than ten hours yesterday, asked to remain anonymous and said that they were questioned about the operation of the clinic, but there were also questions like, "with who do you cooperate and to who do you submit reports."

The phones of the detained medical workers, director Dr. Natasa Prentic, doctor Emilija Ivic, two nurses and a driver, have been confiscated.

They returned home late last night, and this morning gathered at the Health Center in Ugljar.

The outpatient unit in Pristina has been operating since 1999, after Albanians violently stormed the Health Center in that town and drove out the management and all the employees, including then director Dr. Slavica Cankovic.

There are currently about 50 elderly Serbs living in Pristina who, like the Serbs in the villages of Babljak and Baabus in the municipality of Urosevac, were provided with health care services by the Serb medical workers.
