Vucic: Kosovo and Metohija is part of Serbia, Serbian embassy in Pristina is Sveclja's ugly dream
Speaking about the deadline given by the Pristina authorities to the Serbs to remove a tent located opposite the Leposavic municipality building by 3 pm, Vucic said that he would carefully monitor the situation from Belgrade
President Aleksandar Vucic said today in Vranje regarding the statement of a minister in the provisional Pristina institutions, Dzeljalj Sveclja - who said that the only Serbian symbol in Pristina will be "its embassy" - that Kosovo and Metohija is part of the territory of Serbia, and that a Serbian embassy in Pristina is Sveclja's ugly dream and nightmare.
"I can tell him that in accordance with (UN) Resolution 1244 and the Constitution of our country, Kosovo and Metohija is part of the territory of the Republic of Serbia, that's how it was, that's how it will be. You know, it's that psychedelic policy where, with the support of those whose support he shouldn't have, he thinks he can take it out on our people. Our people have suffered worse, but not forever," Vucic said when asked by a journalist to comment on the statement of Sveclja, who also referred to him and Novak Djokovic as "fascists."
Speaking about the deadline given by the Pristina authorities to the Serbs to remove a tent located opposite the Leposavic municipality building by 3 pm, Vucic said that he would carefully monitor the situation from Belgrade.
"Imagine it being a big problem, a tent where the signatures are being collected for the removal of those (mayors) who received 3 percent of the vote. So much for, as they call it, the 'most democratic country" known in the world," said Vucic.
Asked to comment on an article in the US media, which claims that American Senator Bob Menendez is taking money from Albanians, Vucic stressed that Menendez is the man who has been causing Serbia the biggest problems for years.
"When you try to answer and talk to them, you always come across an impenetrable wall. And you immediately know that it is money that someone got. I think I already talked about Menendez getting money from Albanians and he was arrested, because he received that money illegally," said Vucic.
Vucic stressed that when certain foreign politicians attack him, they do so because they are paid.
"Not everyone is like that, but those who know nothing about our region, who have no idea about anything, they are always as a rule like that. And what will we do now, when it has been established that he is a great supporter, not only of our political opponents, of all those who hate Serbia in the region, in fact an Albanian mercenary. Everyone will keep quiet, pretend that nothing happened and forget about Bob Menendez. Meanwhile an awful lot of damage has been done to the Serb people and the Serbian state," Vucic pointed out.
According to him, all attacks on Serbia are aimed at sidelining any talk about the energy, enthusiasm and ambition of the citizens of Serbia.
"Well you cannot defeat that plan, that ambition, that desire and that ability to keep public finances under control, to reindustrialize the country, to fight and to achieve everything we said we would," said Vucic.
