President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said today that he is considering how not to put the country in a difficult position, and to launch an investigation into the unlawful arming of so-called of Kosovo and asked how those who do this and violate UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and the UN Charter think that they will not be held accountable for it.

"I am thinking about how to launch an investigation into how all those who arm the so-called Kosovo security forces and the Albanians do that contrary to Resolution 1244 and the Charter of the United Nations, how they violated it and how they dare to violate the UN Charter, while thinking that they will never answer for that," Vucic said when asked by a journalist about the events in Banjska.

He said that he was thinking about how not to put the country in a difficult position, and still make sure international law is respected, and added that he knows that certain people who ask that question (about Banjska) are not interested, because they really don't care what foreigners are doing against Serbia, what Albanians are doing against Serbia, what Kurti is doing against Serbia.

"You are interested in how to punish Serbia, because some Serbs wanted to defend their homes. Yes, since they have committed certain criminal acts, they will be brought to justice. It is the job of the competent state authorities to find out exactly what these crimes are and for that they will be prosecuted," said Vucic.

The president added that those who accuse the Serbs of having guns, rifles, and hand-held rocket launchers do not look at what is happening on the other side and what weapons are brought to so-called Kosovo.

"Well, you brought Vurans, all unlawfully, then you brought Javelins, all unlawfully, mortars that you attach to Vurans... Well, you brought all that to Kosovo unlawfully. And you don't answer for anything. You can do it. You, big and strong, have your servants here, from the politics to the media," said Vucic.

He stressed that he is the president of Serbia and that his job is to defend the country as well as to protect our people in Kosovo and Metohija, and that he will continue to do that.
