Enough signatures for removal of mayors in Zvecan and Zubin Potok collected

The collection of signatures in favor of the sacking of mayors in Zvecan and Zubin Potok has been completed and these days the petitions will be submitted to the municipal assemblies according to procedure.

Previously, the signatures were collected in Kosovska Mitrovica and Leposavic and handed over to the municipal administrations for further processing, Kosovska Mitrovica radio said, Tanjug reports.

In Zvecan, the signatures were collected in one day, the representative of the Initiative Group in that municipality, Darko Vuksanovic, told the portal.

The required number of signatures was exceeded in Zubin Potok as well, confirmed Srdjan Vucinic, a member of the Initiative Group there. In these municipalities, the signing of the petition began on Friday, January 19.

In northern Kosovska Mitrovica and Leposavic, where the signing started a few days earlier - on Wednesday, January 17, this procedure has also been completed.
