Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic reacted from Australia to the death of Dejan Milojevic, a Serbian assistant coach working in the NBA who died aged 47 from a sudden heart attack he had in a restaurant in Salt Lake City.

Novak Djokovic is currently in Melbourne, where he is competing in the first Grand Slam tournament of the year, the Australian Open, and where he qualified for the third round. The news of Milojevic's untimely passing reached him there.

At the time of the news conference after the match against Alexei Popyrin, Djokovic knew only that Milojevic was in the hospital, and wished him a speedy recovery, however, that sadly did not happen...

Now Djokovic today took to Instagram, where he left a short message.

"Rest in peace," Djokovic wrote, in Serbian.
