A man in Greece who killed his Albanian brother-in-law after learning that he was raping his daughter for nine years, will be questioned again today.

The tragedy that shook the entire Balkans occurred when an 18-year-old girl admitted to her father that her uncle had been raping her for years and blackmailing her with provocative videos and photographs.

The father then decided to take revenge, called his brother-in-law, met him and then shot him dead.

After the murder, the father was arrested, and the girl has been seeing a psychologist for days so that she could deal with everything that happened to her.

Her mother has not yet been questioned, but has filed a civil suit.

A well-known Greek criminal lawyer, Alexis Kougias, accepted the father's request to take over his case and defend him in court.

Before the hearing, Kougias told the media that he would reveal something shocking in the coming days, but did not want to immediately say what it was.

In the meantime, it came out that the victim had previously revealed what she was going through to a professor at her university.

The landlady of the raped girl, who called her father and told him that the rent and bills had not been paid, also played an important role in uncovering the crime. It was this call that prompted the father to ask his daughter what was going on.

After several hours of conversation, she told her father what she was going through, but at first did not want to reveal to him who the assailant was. When she finally confessed, her father said that he would take care of everything.

After the tragedy, a friend of the victim spoke up, who revealed that the murdered Albanian often waited for his cousin in front of the school.

"He would come in front, always wait for classes to finish. He bullied other girls before. She even told him several times to stop doing it because those girls were much younger than him. He was often after girls who were under 18," said the victim's friend.

After these statements, the police fear that the young woman is not the only victim of the Albanian who in the meantime got shot dead.

His phone has been sent for expert examination, and when that is done, more details will be known.
