A team of UKSC doctors from the Clinic for Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery are making superhuman efforts to save patient B.C. (65) from Leskovac, who was seriously injured in a gas bottle explosion.

The patient was transported to UKCS from Nis yesterday, where, after admission, complete diagnostics were carried out. It was established that more than 65 percent of his skin is affected by deep burns, and that his life is in danger.

The doctors from this clinic once again appeal on citizens, considering that this is the winter season, to take care that the devices they use for heating are in proper working order, as well as to avoid using pyrotechnics, in order to avoid risking lives.
