Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic has reacted to the statement of UK's foreign minister, David Cameron, made during his visit to Pristina, that he will help so-called state of Kosovo get recognized by countries that have not yet done so.

"I don't think we heard anything new, what Cameron said in Pristina is not a deviation from their stance on Kosovo and Metohija. Cameron repeated the agenda from the 90s. It is up to us to understand the circumstances and geopolitics well and do everything we can to preserve peace. Serbs are the strongest attribute in Kosovo and Metohija. That is our suffering people. It will be very challenging. There will be continued pressure from Kurti and the international community," Minister Vucevic told B92.

He added that "we are no one's puppet on a string, pulled by an invisible or visible hand."

"We are a free and independent country, we are sitting on our own chair. Nor will we renounce our friendship with Russia, China, South American countries. Unfortunately, pressure on Serbia will continue. I repeat, the biggest challenge, in every sense, is the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and what is happening around Bosnia and Herzegovina and the undermining of the Dayton Agreement."
