Multimedia spectacle and fireworks on Sava Promenade: These will be traffic changes during New Year's

Belgrade Waterfront is once again organizing a multimedia spectacle to welcome in the New Year.

Just before the clock strikes midnight, as we will say our last farewell to 2023, a New Year's projection will appear on the Belgrade Tower, accompanied by spectacular laser display, and and fireworks over the Sava River.

Traffic changes

Although it is not possible to avoid holiday headaches related to traffic at this time of year, maybe it's a sign that it's time for a romantic walk along the Sava Promenade, and an occasion for a few drinks, to welcome in 2024 as fits the occasion!

In order for the spectacle to go as smoothly as possible, there will be changes to traffic, already on December 30, which will end on January 1.

From 5 pm on December 31 until 3 am on January 1, traffic will be fully suspended and parking spaces will not be available in Hercegovacka Street (from the Old Main Railway Station to Briselska Street) and in Kraljice Drage Obrenovic Street (from Vudroa Vilsona Boulevard to the Sava Promenade).

From 8 pm on December 31, until 1 am on January 1, traffic will be closed in Zemunski Put (from Sajmiste to Vudroa Vilsona Boulevard).

The pedestrian path at the Old Sava bridge will be fully occupied along its entire length from December 30 at 8 am, until January 1 at 8 am.
