The meeting of the Bureau for Coordination of Security Services was held on Monday afternoon in the Presidency building in Belgrade
A meeting of the Bureau for Coordination of Security Services was held on Monday afternoon in the Presidency building, attended by Bureau Chief Ivica Dacic, Interior Minister Bratislav Gasic, Defense Minister Milos Vucevic, Justice Minister Maja Popovic, State Public Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac and others.
Dacic and heads of security services and prosecutors discussed the attempt by (opposition) demonstrators to enter the Belgrade City Assembly building by force (on Sunday evening).
"The security situation in Serbia is stable and all elements will continue to work to protect the constitutional order," said Dacic and added:
"These are not political protests. This is about an attempt to violently take over the Assembly and violently overthrow the constitutional order of Serbia. Both are criminal offenses and represent an act of undermining of the constitutional order. We call on everyone to behave peacefully and with restraint," he said.
