Brnabic: Two Austrian observers are spreading fake story about election rigging
She recalled that one observer from Austria was at four polling stations and did not have any objections nor did he file written objections at any of those polling stations, while another was at two and also did not express, nor file written objections
Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic pointed out today that those who last night's protests against the election results tried to forcefully enter the Belgrade Assembly building and that some of them used stone blocks and cold weapons for this purpose.
"The story about a rigged election and the theft of 30 percent of the votes (spread) by two observers from Austria is false," Brnabic told Happy TV.
She recalled that one of these observer from Austria was at four polling stations and did not have any objections nor did he file written objections at any of those polling stations, while another was at two, and also did not express, nor file written objections.
However, according to the prime minister, later these two observers from Austria - under the influence of Solak's media and Djilas's proven lie that 40,000 people were brought to vote from the Serb Republic (RS) - stated that they personally saw all these irregularities.
"It is an unprecedented lie and nonsense because not nearly as many people (who have the right to vote in Serbia) came from the RS, but then another lie was spread about alleged internal migration (of voters). I then say you are lying, and then Djilas comes out and accuses the prime minister of being illiterate and lying and attacking Austria. No problem, let him say what he wants, but I did not attack Austria. I thank them for all the investments. I know Austrian Prime Minister Nehammer personally and he is a phenomenal man. However, Djilas is unable of uttering anything that is not a lie," said Brnabic.
The prime minister reminded that she had been saying for months that the goal was to create chaos after the election and overturn the election result, and pointed out that both President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and herself managed to prove that there were no "phantom" voters on the voter roll.
Brnabic urged for the calming of situation and told those "who cannot get used to living without being in power" that the people do not want them.
"They will do anything to get in power and are ready to destroy their country with the support of foreigners and various haters from the surroundings. It is this well-designed scheme, with the support of NGOs such as Crta, which openly prepares material for disinformation, with the support of enemies in the region, the tycoon media and foreigners who want to bring those they support to power, those who would be there for the sake power and money, and not for the people of Serbia. That's the whole truth," said Ana Brnabic.
