OSCE in Kosovo: Bring those who desecrated Serb cemetery in Orahovac to justice
It is stated that all communities in Kosovo and Metohija "deserve the protection of their holy places and respect for their deceased loved ones"
The OSCE Mission to so-called Kosovo has expressed regret over the another case of desecration of the Serb Orthodox cemetery in Orahovac and called on responsible institutions to investigate this and bring the perpetrators to justice.
"Saddened to hear about the desecration once again of the Serbian Orthodox cemetery in Orahovac on December 18. We call on responsible institutions to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice as well as take measures to prevent any future act of vandalism," the OSCE Mission posted on X.
It is stated that all communities in Kosovo and Metohija "deserve the protection of their holy places and respect for their deceased loved ones."
At least five wooden crosses have been broken at the Orthodox cemetery in Orahovac.
The desecration of Orthodox symbols was discovered by Orahovac residents who visited the cemetery on Monday, a day before the St. Nicholas family patron saint day (slava).
