The special envoy of the European Union for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, announced last night that he and director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Peter Petkovic, had met in Brussels and discussed the EU draft of the statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) and the next steps when it comes to the implementation of the agreement on the path of normalization of relations.

"With Serbian chief negotiator Petkovic Petar, I spoke about the EU draft statute of the association of Serb majority municipalities, next steps to implement the agreement on the path to normalization and pending obligations," Lajcak wrote on X.

He added that he will hold talks with representatives of Pristina later this week.
