The mission of the European Parliament, which will observe elections in Serbia, will arrive in Belgrade on Thursday, December 14, Demostat has learned unofficially from a European Parliament source.

The delegation of MEPs, which will arrive on the last day of the election campaign, will include Viola von Kramon, MP from the Greens and EP rapporteur for Kosovo, Vladimir Bilcik, MP from the European People's Party and EP rapporteur for Serbia, Klemen Groselj and Javier Nart from the group Renew Europe, as well as Andreas Schieder from the Socialists and Democrats group.

The observers from the EP will be part of the OSCE election monitoring mission.

The EP said earlier that they are ready to send a delegation to observe Serbian elections that will be held at various levels in our country on December 17, if Belgrade sends a letter asking the European Parliament to appoint a mission that would observe elections on the ground, i.e. at polling stations in Serbia, writes Kosovo Online.

Last year, for the first time, the European Parliament had a delegation that observed elections in our country (held on April 3), which was also part of the OSCE mission.
