Three suspects, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Keshishev and Bore Videvski, have confessed to their involvement in the kidnapping and murder of Vanja Gorchevska and Panche Zhezhovski.

The head of the Skopje prosecutor's office, Gavril Bubevski, said that they are being prosecuted for three criminal offenses - including murder.

During the interrogation, they revealed the times Vanja, and Panche were murdered.

"We have the confessions of the suspects about who is responsible for what," said Bubevski.

According to initial information from their statements, they killed Vanja, a 14-year-old girl, after abducting her on her way to school because "things got out of control."

"That's their version," added Bubevski.

Biological traces have been taken and are being tested. When the results are released, the investigation and more details will follow.

"After this, the harshest possible measure will be requested (against the perpetrators)," Bubevski added.

He stressed that 48-hour (police) detention has been ordered to process evidence and perform post mortems. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia will then come out with a report and the public prosecutor's office will open the case, after which they will be able to release more details.
