Ljupco P., the suspect in the murder of 14-year-old girl Vanja from Skopje, North Macedonia, first fled to Belgrade, and then to Bulgaria, the interior minister of North Macedonia told a press conference today, where all the details of this brutal crime were presented.

Oliver Spasovski said that the suspect left the country by car.

"Together with his lawyer, he went to Belgrade, and then the next day to Bulgaria," said Spasovski.

Spasovski addeed that Ljupco P. left for Serbia on November 30.

14-year-old girl Vanja disappeared on November 27 while on her way to school. Her body was found yesterday in a village on the outskirts of Skopje, and it is believed that she was killed the same day she was abducted.

Material gain is cited as the main motive for the crime.

According to the North Macedonia authorities, the kidnappers received information about the time 14-year-old girl Vanja would leave the house from the main suspect, Ljupco P., who learned this from Vanja's own father.

The three suspects who are in custody confessed to the crime and revealed who played what role in this heinous crime.
