BIA: We won't be drawn into Djordje Miketic's political games

"Regarding the continued attacks by certain media against the BIA, in connection with an explicit recording featuring Mr. Djordje Miketic, we announce that the BIA will not allow itself to be drawn into the political games of Mr. Miketic and his political faction, and we reiterate that the Agency bears no responsibility for the creation and dissemination of the aforementioned content, which is inappropriate for a number of reasons.

One of the tasks of the BIA (Security Intelligence Agency) is protection of state bodies, and in this sense also the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and its deputies, which is why the Agency, in accordance with its legal powers, immediately launched an investigation.

It was irrefutably established that the video is authentic and that it was created con sensually and without coercion, which Mr. Miketic publicly confirmed, as well as that it was taken by a male person, who was in the same room with Mr. Miketic and an unknown female person," the BIA said in a statement.
