"First we saw stick in snow, and then the body": Villagers near Ivanjica assume victim suffered heart attack

A man who was found dead in the snow in the village of Bele Vode near the town of Ivanjica most likely suffered a heart attack, according to the locals. The exact cause of death will be known after the competent authorities submit their report.

"He was found ten meters from the weekend home, in deep snow. A neighbor was passing by and saw a stick standing there, when he approached he could see the body of a man. He immediately reported finding an unconscious body frozen in the snow."

They add that the victim came to the weekend home on Mt. Golija from Belgrade, they saw him in the village the day before the tragedy, but what happened in the meantime is not known.
