Vucic congratulates newly elected president of Argentina

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has congratulated Javier Milei on his election as the new president of Argentina and wished him success in performing the responsible duties of the head of state, writes Tanjug.

"I am convinced that together we will continue to build and further strengthen the good relations between our two friendly countries," Vucic wrote on the "@predsednikrs" account on X.

The newly elected president of Argentina, who will take office on December 10, also received congratulations on his victory from the current president of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez, as well as the presidents of the US, Brazil and other countries.

Former US President Donald Trump also congratulated Milei, saying that he will "make Argentina great again," while the owner of the X platform, Elon Musk, posted that Argentina is headed for the beginning of a period of prosperity.
