As president, he had to react to one thing, Vucic said

In every election campaign, you hear all kinds of things, you hear about everything, but as the president of the Republic, I have to react to one thing, which does not concern me nor the block of political parties that I personally support. It regards the state and the basic postulates on which the country rests.

With these words, President Aleksandar Vucic addressed the nation from his Instagram profile and sent a strong message:

"Just like in the last campaign they they said they were the ones against imposing sanctions against Russia, and that I would personally introduce them on April 3 (last year). And after the election, I didn't do that, and they are still advocating for sanctions today. The same way no they how they invented that that I'm ready to sign independence of Kosovo, just once the elections are over.

I want the people of Serbia to know that this is a notorious lie. And as an honorable man who respects the Constitution and laws of his country, and who loves the people in Kosovo and Metohija more than anything - that this is a notorious lie. And I am sure that work and results will always win," said Vucic.
