SPS leader Ivica Dacic denied the claims published by the Nova.rs portal last evening, which said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was enraged by the name of the SPS electoral list in the upcoming parliamentary elections and added that he had agreed with him that SPS and SNS would continue their cooperation after the elections.

"On the occasion of the Nova.rs portal writing that President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic was furious because of the name of my list in the upcoming elections, I want to say that this is nonsense and lies. Aleksandar Vucic is my friend and political partner, we've informed each other about our plans as far as electoral lists are concerned, including the names of the lists," said Dacic in a post on his Instagram account.

Dacic added that he agreed with Vucic that SNS and SPS continue their cooperation after the December elections, which he said is in the interest of Serbia.

Dacic, President of United Serbia (JS) Dragan "Palma" Markovic and President of the Greens of Serbia (Zeleni Srbije) Ivan Karic earlier in the day yesterday signed a pre-election coalition agreement on joint participation in the upcoming voting.

The joint parliamentary elections list will be called "Ivica Dacic - Prime Minister of Serbia," and for the local elections in Belgrade it will be, "Ivica Dacic - Prime Minister of Serbia, Toma Fila Mayor of Belgrade," SPS has announced.
